To install OpenShift Container Platform on IBM PowerVC, use the installer-provisioned infrastructure method, which lets the installation program provision the underlying cluster infrastructure for you.

## Installing a cluster on installer-provisioned infrastructure {#installation-methods-ibm-powervc_installation-methods-ibm-powervc}

You can install a OpenShift Container Platform cluster on IBM PowerVC using installer-provisioned infrastructure. The installation program provisions the required infrastructure and supports customization at installation time, with additional options available postinstallation.
