Specification

PropertyTypeDescription
apiVersionstringAPIVersion defines the versioned schema of this representation of an object. Servers should convert recognized schemas to the latest internal value, and may reject unrecognized values. More info: https://git.k8s.io/community/contributors/devel/sig-architecture/api-conventions.md#resources
kindstringKind is a string value representing the REST resource this object represents. Servers may infer this from the endpoint the client submits requests to. Cannot be updated. In CamelCase. More info: https://git.k8s.io/community/contributors/devel/sig-architecture/api-conventions.md#types-kinds
metadataObjectMetaStandard object’s metadata. More info: https://git.k8s.io/community/contributors/devel/sig-architecture/api-conventions.md#metadata
specobjectspec holds user settable values for configuration
statusobjectstatus holds observed values from the cluster. They may not be overridden.

.spec

Description
spec holds user settable values for configuration
Type
`object`
PropertyTypeDescription
baseDomainstringbaseDomain is the base domain of the cluster. All managed DNS records will be sub-domains of this base.
For example, given the base domain openshift.example.com, an API server DNS record may be created for cluster-api.openshift.example.com.
Once set, this field cannot be changed.
platformobjectplatform holds configuration specific to the underlying infrastructure provider for DNS. When omitted, this means the user has no opinion and the platform is left to choose reasonable defaults. These defaults are subject to change over time.
privateZoneobjectprivateZone is the location where all the DNS records that are only available internally to the cluster exist.
If this field is nil, no private records should be created.
Once set, this field cannot be changed.
publicZoneobjectpublicZone is the location where all the DNS records that are publicly accessible to the internet exist.
If this field is nil, no public records should be created.
Once set, this field cannot be changed.

Description
aws contains DNS configuration specific to the Amazon Web Services cloud provider.
Type
`object`
PropertyTypeDescription
privateZoneIAMRolestringprivateZoneIAMRole contains the ARN of an IAM role that should be assumed when performing operations on the cluster’s private hosted zone specified in the cluster DNS config. When left empty, no role should be assumed.
The ARN must follow the format: arn::iam:::role/, where: is the AWS partition (aws, aws-cn, aws-us-gov, or aws-eusc), is a 12-digit numeric identifier for the AWS account, is the IAM role name.

.spec.privateZone

Description
privateZone is the location where all the DNS records that are only available internally to the cluster exist. If this field is nil, no private records should be created. Once set, this field cannot be changed.

Query parameters

ParameterTypeDescription
dryRunstringWhen present, indicates that modifications should not be persisted. An invalid or unrecognized dryRun directive will result in an error response and no further processing of the request. Valid values are: - All: all dry run stages will be processed
fieldValidationstringfieldValidation instructs the server on how to handle objects in the request (POST/PUT/PATCH) containing unknown or duplicate fields. Valid values are: - Ignore: This will ignore any unknown fields that are silently dropped from the object, and will ignore all but the last duplicate field that the decoder encounters. This is the default behavior prior to v1.23. - Warn: This will send a warning via the standard warning response header for each unknown field that is dropped from the object, and for each duplicate field that is encountered. The request will still succeed if there are no other errors, and will only persist the last of any duplicate fields. This is the default in v1.23+ - Strict: This will fail the request with a BadRequest error if any unknown fields would be dropped from the object, or if any duplicate fields are present. The error returned from the server will contain all unknown and duplicate fields encountered.
